1. Bookings are preferably paid for by bank transfer or BACs. Please email for BACs details.
2. At peak season 2010 weekly accommodation is booked from Saturday to Saturday. At other times of the year we can be more flexible. Short breaks are usually from Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday.
3. We can hold provisional bookings for 5 working days. We confirm bookings by email when we have received a 50% non-refundable deposit of the full accommodation charge.
4. You'll need to pay the balance of the accommodation charge at least 4 weeks before the start of your holiday.
5. If you book less than 4 weeks before the start of your holiday we ask for the full accommodation charge at the time of booking. If you do not pay the balance when it is due we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
6. We reserve the right to refuse any booking or cancel any bookings already made, subject to refunding any sums you have paid without further liability on our behalf.
7. We don't allow smoking in the house, but there is a big deck right outside!
8. A well-behaved pet can usually be accommodated by prior arrangement, but please don't leave your dog in the house unattended.
9. We ask that you notify us of any damages or breakages prior to departure so that we can resolve them asap.
10. Arrival time is after 3pm on the day of your arrival and departure time is 10am. If you can, let us know roughly when you'll arrive so that we can ensure the house is warm and well-lit.
11. If you'd like some meals provided during your stay, please give us as much notice as possible of dates and numbers. Meals should be paid for by cheque or cash on departure, except in the case of the Honeymooners deal, for which payment is taken at the point of booking. We reserve the right not to offer catering if our schedule is too busy.
12. If you take advantage of our Eco-deal please let us know when you book. Your 5% refund will be made by cheque at the end of your stay.
13. As mobile phone coverage can be erratic in the area, we have provided a land line at the Love Shack. Local calls are free but we ask for a discretionary payment at the time of departure from you to cover any national, international or to-mobile calls you make during your stay.
14. We are committed to environmental awareness and therefore charge guests at cost only for the electricity that they use.
    We have an Owl energy monitor so it's easy to track and is usually about £10 per week. In winter we supply a good few day's worth of logs, thereafter guests can buy logs easily at local shops and garages.
