Eco-break - a 5% refund on your accommodation payment if you don't bring a car and choose public transport instead.
A second consecutive week at the Love Shack can be added to your stay at the weekly rate minus 25%.

  


BOOKING YOUR BREAK

The Love Shack is available to book all year round, but please book as far ahead as you can as we get so many more enquiries than we can accommodate.
We offer 3 day short weekend breaks (Frid - Mon) or 4 day midweek breaks (Mon - Frid) at the same price. We can very occasionally be more flexible so it's usually worth getting in touch with us just in case.

Full weeks (7 nights) run from Friday (arrival after 3pm) to Friday (departure by 10am). Our current prices range according to season from £550 - £780 (full weeks, excl. Christmas & New Year) and £430 - £550 for short breaks (3 night weekends or 4 nights midweek). Christmas, Easter and New Year are priced seperately - please enquire. Our prices will be next reviewed in January 2012.

Longer stays of 2+ weeks can sometimes be accommodated (why not start that novel you've been planning?!) at lower rates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON ACCESS & PARKING
Cunsey is a 5 minute drive from the Windermere to Sawrey ferry terminal, 10 minutes drive from Hawkshead or 15 minutes drive from Newby Bridge.
The house is accessed from the village road up a 15m, unsurfaced private track with an (unlocked) access gate.There is parking up the track ( in a private parking space) or on the village road.
As the property is in an elevated position, there are stone steps and a wooden walkway of 14 shallow steps uphill between the entry porch and the house.
Regrettably this means that the house is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with very limited mobility. Pets and infants should be supervised at all times.
The property exterior is sensitively lit at night, so even if you arrive after dark you needn’t worry.
